Haaa, it's funny because they are Amical's people who are currently disguised as people this Andy guy trusts, and are currently learning all his plans!

I feel like this isn't the first time Malloy has posed as this Quantam fellow. Amical probably sees this guy as an annoying fly that he hasn't gotten around to swatting yet.

@Eternal Cry: That's the thing. Why hasn't he?

Cross is paranoid, which is a plus, but Amical has thoroughly breached his base and undoubtably could do so again if needed. What use is he?

I read this page this morning and then spent all day at work thinking about question. If your enemy is actively hostile to your interests, you must deal with them. Amical has shown no regard for mortal life, but a lot of regard for Awakened lives. I think Amical is dealing with him in a way to keep him alive because Amical completely believes that its better to have a hostile mage than a dead one.

Which is scary, because how much power do you need to feel unconcerned about a hostile mage?

@Mindsword2: Either that or he's just nuts. That's always an option.

@Don Quixotes: Possibly. But he's got 3 mages working for him. And the mages that oppose him seem more insane

@Mindsword2: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, especially if there's a chance to turn the latter into the former!

Maybe Malloy is trying to lure him to the mansion to finish him there.
