Interesting. I wonder what kind of Fate effect Amical will use. I can't think of any way to censor people with it off the top of my head. Thinking on it a bit further maybe some kind of conditional trigger? Something like 'If the seedlings are about to say something I don't like a coinicdence will cut the phone line.'

Coincidence is a good start, but how about something a little more subtle and less disruptive? It could be something like "If the Seedlings attempt to reveal anything about their current location or training, or the world they now find themselves in, something will happen to distract or divert the conversation to a different topic."

You'd need Mind to directly censor someone like that. Fate can set up consequences for certain actions, or it can make random events and coincidences more or less likely, and can cause random events to conspire against a particular course of action, but Fate alone can't directly control people's choices.

Since Amical has Forces and Fate, he's probably going to set a conditional trigger that eliminates sound if they try to say anything he doesn't want them to.

Guys, guys. There's only one condition/consequence that is appropriate here.

Try to reveal to the outsiders the world of magic? Rocks fall, everyone dies.

Have you never played a pen'n'paper RPG or something? Gosh.

I seem to recall a forces spell from one of the books that let you replace a sound with one of your own design. Perhaps Amical will use that tied to a fate trigger as a subtle way of censoring them. Something like 'If Billy tries to tell his assistant where he is, it will be replaced with a screaming tantrum about how no one pays enough attention to him.'
